Just a quick note to say that I watched the Unreported World documentary last night on ‘Congo: Magic, Gangs & Wrestlers’ and thought it was so good that I had to watch some more.
With my own documentary fast approaching, it is really interesting to see the different styles and treatments that popular documentaries on tv take. Unreported World is a particularly good example: the access and the narrative make them very compelling to watch, with key relatable characters throughout.
I have also just watched ‘Terror in Sudan’, which despite the graphic images was a fantastic documentary highlighting the humanitarian crisis out in the region and the tactical starvation which the government is putting on its people. Horrific war crimes, and well worth a watch.
